I also wasn’t planning on putting on these shoes…Oh my goodness! Oh god…oh my god. Hold on [laughs, breathes in]. Wow, wow, wow, wow, I haven’t worn heels in - god knows. Okay. They’re a little small - little small. These are from college. Hold on.
Okay let me, start over.
[sung]
I don’t listen to music anymore.
Nothing in my headphones.
Just a heartbeat coming from the floor.
I dug and I dug what was underneath.
Turns out it was the devil I thought was in me.
[Exhales. Swallows.]
I don’t watch movies anymore.
Nothing on the tv but some glow I can’t ignore anymore.
It was all about consumption, now it’s all about becoming, as I pour the ink on the page.
It may not be a phase, but am I ready for a stage?
I turned all the volume down that was outside of me so I could hear what’s inside.
That telltale heart telling me it’s time.
Time for what, I don’t know - so on with the show.
Okay - something about kickball change [laughs] something about hopping, I fucking forget.
